This notice explains what personal data the website www.mieledeldoge.it collects, why, for how long, and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we process and why

Messages on WhatsApp and by email

If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, you give us your phone number or your email address, your name (if you give it) and the text of your message. We use them only to reply to your request, for example information about our honeys, an order or a shipment. On WhatsApp, messages also pass through the WhatsApp service (Meta), which processes data under its own privacy notice.

Legal basis: your request and the pre-contractual steps that follow from it (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Retention: for as long as needed to reply and to manage any resulting relationship; if none arises, as a rule no longer than 12 months. If an order results, the data are kept for the accounting and tax obligations required by law.

Writing by email or calling us

If you contact us directly by email or phone, we use the data you give us only to reply to you, on the same legal basis and for the same period.

Browsing data

Like any website, the servers hosting this site automatically record some technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) needed for the site to work and to stay secure. We do not use them to identify or profile you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

3. Cookies

This site does not use profiling or advertising cookies, does not use analytics tools and does not load content from third-party services (such as fonts, maps or embedded videos): the typefaces are hosted on our own server. For this reason it does not show a cookie banner. It may use only one technical cookie, which does not require your consent:

pll_language – remembers the language you chose (Italian or English); it is a technical cookie of Polylang.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working, but it may not remember your chosen language.

4. Third-party services

• Hosting: the site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), which processes technical data on our behalf.
• External links: the site contains links to other sites (for example our Facebook page or Slow Food). By clicking them you leave this site and those sites’ own notices apply.

5. Who we share data with

Data are never sold or disclosed. They may be processed only by the technical providers listed above and, when required by law, by tax advisers or competent authorities.

6. Your rights

You may at any time ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) or object to its processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Write to info@mieledeldoge.it. If you believe your data are not being handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

We may update this notice; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date at the top.
